Mean What You Say, Say What You Mean

Matthew 5:37 (King James Version)

37But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

It doesn't seem to bother people anymore that they don't mean half of what they say. People seem more inclined to speak "in the moment" than to actually take the time to think before they speak. What happened to having convictions? What happened to there being an absolute?

Recently a popular tel-evangelist was asked point blank if he believed that Jesus Christ was the only way to Heaven. The minister evaded the question until the interviewer demanded he answer the question, and then he said that he would not answer the question because he didn't "go negative."

I'm sorry, but the Bible is quite clear. Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. No man comes to the Father but by Him. Sorry Muslims, sorry bhuddists, taoists, maoists, shaolins, wiccans, and other non-believers. Unless you come to the Cross of Christ and give your life to Him, you can count on not enjoying the delights of heaven. Period.
